Tim Clark's work deals with evaluating and evolving public spaces using technology. The wealth of information that technology gathers and keeps track of can act as a sixth sense if used correctly and creatively. This is what he strives for in his work, taking a new media approach to understand the interactions people have with spaces, each other and digital objects. Computing has changed the way we perceive the world and is now pivotal to integrate into the creative process.
His digital work crosses many disciplines such as art, design, psychogeography, anthropology, sociology, cartography, and urbanism. It has been featured on art and design websites including infosthetics.com and visualcomplexity.com and his photography has been included in several Ars Electronica publications.
He currently works in the Digital Arts program at Bennington College and interns with Eyebeam Art + Technology Center in NYC.
